AskOn GirlsAskGuys, private messages work like this:
- To send a private message, someone must:
- Visit your profile and use the âSend a Messageâ feature
- Be at least Xper Level 2
- Messages older than 3 months are automatically deleted.
- Some members limit who can message them (for example, only people they follow), depending on their privacy settings.
Youâre absolutely not obligated to message anyone privately, and itâs fine to think itâs disrespectful or uncomfortable given that youâre married and donât know these men personally.
If you donât want this kind of interaction, you can:
1. Ignore and donât reply â you never have to explain yourself.
2. Block the user â this prevents further messages from that account.
3. Report harassment â if someone is pushy, rude, or makes you uncomfortable, you can:
- Report them at: https://www.girlsaskguys.com/contact
- The platform states that cyberbullying/harassment is not tolerated.

If anyone becomes especially insistent or abusive in DMs, donât respond, block them, delete the message, and report it. Youâre completely within your rights to keep all your interactions public on questions only.
