Do I like him or is it because he likes me?

Has anyone else been confused about this? I know no one can answer this but me, still I'm interested if anyone feels like this sometimes.

Also I've been working quite hard to get this guy to choose me over someone else (I really did like him in the beginning btw) now I feel bad because I don't no if I still like him as much. Was I just being competitive?

I've been in that situation before. Started out liking a guy who was interested in someone else then by the time he's interested I decide he's may not be what I'm looking for, yet felt "obligated". Of course obligated isn't a good word, it's just the only one coming to mind.

I think sometimes we trick ourselves into thinking we really like someone when we hear they may be off limits because they're pursuing someone else. Then when it gets down to it and we're not that interested. I guess what I'm saying is it isn't always intentional. Still doesn't make it right, but I do think it happens often. The chase is fun. You're not alone :)

Yeah, you probably just didn't want to lose to someone else, and that's okay because it's just human nature to not want to lose.

If you don't like him as much as you used to, you can break it off.
