A guy who would always look at me (and get up out of his seat to walk past me and look at me often) and treated me nice, and couldn't stop smiling and would never look away from me when I spoke to him has become withdrawn. He greets me with the eyebrow raise, kinda deer caught in the headlights look when he used to say hello. Since then, I've told him I just got out of a relationship (and he asked why it ended) and he's seen me flirting with another guy (a friend), so I don't know if that has put him off or if he feels like he's getting nowhere with me. Are they reasons a guy who initially liked a girl would start backing off. Do you keep your distance from a girl if you're getting nowhere with her, even if you still like her?
