Was my hookup buddy jealous?

I had been hooking up with a guy for a while but it never seemed to go anywhere. One night when we were at a bar and I was talking to another guy I had hooked up with a couple years ago (who my hookup buddy knew I had hooked up with). While I was talking to this guy, my hookup buddy came up and interrupted our conversation. He blatantly said in front of the other guy that he had found my earring in his bed. Why would he say that in front of him? Was he jealous that I was talking to another guy I had hooked up with?

I think he was jealous that the other guy was going to sleep with you, and not him. A lot of men are jealous of other guys...men are very territorial when it comes to woman.

But he had no right to be jealous.

It could be he is jealous or maybe he's just "defending his territory". Letting the other guy know to back off, you're with him.
