Was my crush being jealous?

We flirt so much together and he’s always made silly comments when he’s seen me talking with a guy like “there’s something going on between you two” or “why don’t you get a room”

I was talking to him today and he said the same thing about me and his friend “I think there’s something going on between you two”

and I said to him “you think I’m involved with every guy you see me talking to”

He said “no I don’t” to which I brought up a time when he made jokes about me flirting with a security guard and he thought I had a thing for him.
My crush insisted that I fancied this guy and when I told him no, he told me that “you’re talking bullshit”

It sounds like he is insecure and/or controlling which often gets worse over time. If he's the only guy you're interested in and you tell him that, it could be time for him to find a new crush.
