On all of these - if you're going to make them at home, or even if you're just buying them you can use combinations of seasoning - garlic, chili, red pepper, parsley (fresh), lemon or lime juice, grated carrots or celery - really liven up the pate.
Eat them on crunchy, lightly salted crackers or grilled bread (a more recommended combination for a foodie).
P.S. Cheese usually goes great with pate - any kind of pate.
