I'm so sick of this shit. One fat shaming post after another, as if us plus sized girls have never heard it before.
Let me tell you something sweetheart. Not all "fat" people are fat because they sit in front of the TV eating chips all day. Not 5 years ago, I was as slender as the rest; a dancer who could probably outlast anyone at the gym. It was a spinal injury that knocked me flat on my ass, and resulted in inactivity... and weight gain. Every day was a constant battle for me, both emotionally and physically. I hated my body, and society made no bones about telling me that they hated it too.
I am now 40lbs slimmer and closer to my goal, and when I see posts like this, I have a difficult time holding back. Fat shaming is the last "accepted" prejudice left on this earth. But I wonder how the constant beating down of an overweight person is still not considered to be a hate crime? How is tearing someone's self esteem apart piece by piece, making him/her feel unworthy of love still acceptable? I'm not telling you or anyone else who you're supposed to find attractive. But for pity's sake, leave us plus sized women alone. We are CURVY. We are BEAUTIFUL. It was voluptuous women who were the subjects of artistic masterpieces for centuries, before society changed the definition of beauty.
I hope other plus sized women reading this mytake are able to ignore the hateful comments, because I know what a negative impact it can have on the mind. I think it's also important to remember that just because a woman is "thick," doesn't mean that she is unhealthy. And it certainly doesn't mean that she isn't beautiful.

Sorry, but read my comment above. Curvy girls are considered curve when they aren't fat. But fat girls call themselves curvy to lie to themselves. Curvy means Curvy, and it's Tim that FAT girls identify with being FAT. Maybe just maybe they will be healthier and get in shape. I'm tired of everyone living in this world where we think it's perfectly fine to do whatever you want or be whoever you want without judgement. Udgement is a good thing, it keeps us all in check. I honestly agree with the thing about some people that are nearly overweight and they call themselves curvy. Curvy is a body shape in which your hips are larger than your waist, the opposite of the "ruler" body shape. But when you are overweight that means you are overweight. End of story. Its interesting how off women are on this. I think its because they are trying to define to men a way of appraising women without any comprehention on what a man actually thinks. None of those women where curvy, thin petite yes, curvy no. You could argue that number 4 has curves but the rest do not. Usually the term curvy is applied to thicker bodied women though its not required (like with number four) however I have noticed for women the goal is be as tiny and thin as possible so this then informs their view on what curvy is ie not the definition of curvy that most men use.

Its funny though, curvy girls can weigh more and be less active than girls without big curves, and yet those girls are the ones told they are "unattractive, lazy, fat". I'm considered "underweight" for my height-weight ratio and I exercise most days however I get called "fat" because my body shape proportions my weight evenly throughout the body and mostly on my stomach and thighs (rather than boobs/butt) , yet my friend who never excercises, eats unhealthily and weighs more than me is called "beautiful, don't worry about your weight, so feminine" because she stores weight in her bum and has a flat stomach. @GuysGuy yes those girls are goals. I have a similar body type except I don't have abs on my stomach but I have a flat stomach, curves, and nice legs.
Well aren't you a sweetheart. Why do you care what other people call themselves? what's in it for you? Don't you have other things to worry about? You are being ugly to people who have a few extra pounds. Being skinny does not give you the right to be nasty to people.
I agree with you that there is a difference between curvy and fat... But women can be overweight and still be curvy... They do not need to be the stick thin models you chose above... I agree with 4 and 5, 2 is close... The last picture you have that says know the difference... That girl is curvier than any of the girls you picked... Like seriously we all just need to stop body shaming each other... And you didn't even have the courage to not go anon on this... the third one doesn't look curvy. and i do think you can most definitely be bigger than these girls and still be curvy. but i do agree with you - there's curvy and there's fat 2 diff things.
also for candice some people saying she's just thin and not curvy smh she might be teeny tiny but she is most definitely still curvy!

And what's it to you? I'm no stick. I used to be 20 pounds thinner as a teen than at 25. And you fucking know what, I was curvy then when I was thin and curvy now when I'm medium sized. Maybe you should stop caring so much about other people, just an idea. If so called fat girls call themselves curvy WHO THE FUCK CARES? Does it really threaten your little size 2 self that much?
Curvy means that your waist is a lot narrower than your hips and you have a full to large breast size and a medium to large ass. You can be that shape at a size 0 or a size 20. The end.
Hmm I'm intilted to have my own opinion and that's what I wrote on my mytake, and it's not that it really affects me you can get annoyed at stuff all you want it's human nature.
