To know how far you are in your actual cycle. If you're ovulating for example. Hormonal levels caused by the stages of your cycle can affect a lot about your body like causing headaches or cramps.

lol @ the pink downvotes. So periods stink, can be dark brown or even black and sometimes bloody chunks come out but it's bad if I find that disgusting? Lots of girls say penises are gross and they don't do any of that.

chicks tend to get offended when a guy says something about how gross periods are because periods are a thing we can't fully control. believe me man if we had an on/off switch, we'd all have it off. I mean really... imagine if your dick was bleeding uncontrollably for a week every month, along with painful cramps and other shit, how would you feel people kept saying to you "ewww periods are gross!" and not wanna be around you?
