Well done I agree with the weightlifting but I still consider cardio as important. You should have a balance of both and depending on your target foxus a bit more on one. Like tue example if athletes
You look great and yes anyone lifting weights is gonna benefit you burn fat the most when you lift weights but stay the way you are don't go becoming more muscle than girl lol.
good stuff more girls (who need it) should look this up. (not anorexic people) this is where body acceptance starts, from within you and you look healthy
Hay!!! I know that bum. Well I dont know it but I remember it. Quads and glutes look great, hams getting rounder and the calves in perfect proportion. Delts, bi's and tri's looking toned. Well done.
not exactly the same, the difference is about +/- 14lbs, but the weight on the scale didn't changed in the beginning. i mean, don't look at that number when your lifting weights. you can screw BMI, not really relevant. when i'm going with my BMI i would still be overweight š
yes! i mean, its the best to gain muscle mass. your muscles need the progressive overload in training to build new muscle tissue.. thats the way you gain more muscle mass. bodyweight exercise is for beginners a good choice but you will need to lift weights to get further.
You can't exactly lift too much. The most you can do with up to medium exercise is lose a couple of pounds. If you really want to be a shehulk, do intensive workouts, consume 100+grams of protein, eat 5 meals a day on workout days, and do powerlifting and other power workouts rather than endurance ones.
I don't get why people have this fear. It's like staring at a bacon strip and thinking "shit, if I ate just one or two strips of bacon daily, I'll look exactly like the pig this came from!"
@Germanium i eat 100+ proteins with 5 meals a day and have (at least it feels like that) intensive workouts š but i'm no where Shehulk... it needs so much time and effort to gain muscles.. this will not happen naturally.
I have started working out too, a months ago. Nothing hard just something that could keep me toned. And I feel better than before. My metabolism works great. So, Yeah! Workout is great.

Respect! You look great!
Do you really weight the same in both pictures? Goes to show that BMI really means nothing when you lift.

and thanks šš
Wow, you've gained a lot of muscle weight! Do you think lifting is necessary to gain muscles? Are bodyweight exercises useful too in that regard?

I always feared iād turn into a shehulk or one of those female body builders if i lifted too much. Glad it worked for u

It doesn't work like that.

but your right, the fear is ridicilous
It is always sad to see girls in gyms not doing any real weights just little ones that are pretty much useless
Hope some will listen here
Awesome I'm glad this has become such an important life fulfilling change. Many other people could benefit from your experience.
Nice work kid. I lost a lot of weight doing the same. You look fantastic.
Pretty sure everyone knows that...
Or it's just common sense and a matter of general knowledge in my country at least.

Girl... part of me wants to congratulate you because you look like a hard worker, but... I don't really want to look like that. No diss.
Look up Leangains, it has training and diet advice. I'm really proud of you.

Thanks for the take, but I wouldn't ditch cardio (although I don't think running is the best cardio for girls).
A little to get toned but like all things people go ott and lasses end up looking like guys with boobs sorry not into that !!!
I focus on a little bit of everything, including cardio.
I don't agree. You look fine in your old photo and I see nothing cool about these masculine arms..
you look great in both photos.
