Strange bump on my ring finger?

I have a strange bump on my ring finger at the joint and its not like a blister cuz I can't pop it. It doesn't hurt. It's not hard. It just feels like excess skin, but my other fingers don't have it. Just my ring finger on my right hand. It could be from writing, but how do I get rid of this... thing.

I have the same thing I think. The way I've always held a pen or pencil is apparently incorrect, and it's caused a bump to form on my ring finger towards the end... sometimes it gets irritated when I write or draw for a long time but otherwise it doesn't bother me.

I'm not sure if you can get rid of it. I wouldn't try to do anything to it, at least. Maybe ask your doctor about it?
Although I swear mine has gradually gotten smaller over the years... probably because I do a lot more typing than writing nowadays.

I found out it was a calus. Soak your Claus for 10-15 minutes in warm water then clip in of with nail slippers. Sounds scary I know, but it doesn't hurt!

Sounds like a ringworm they have cream for that

Nah. I just found it it was a Calais... calus... however you spell it :/ and yea it was from writing. Thanks for the help though!
