What's the hardest thing about working out at the gym with friends?

No, only the dudes desperate for girl's and their attention have trouble working out like they need to lol.
As for what's the hardest thing with gym buddies- it's keeping them on my pace. Or rather, slowing down to theirs. I lift at a little quicker pace and do multiple different sets at once. My friends don't really keep up, so I either have to have a slow day or work alone anyway. Their fat asses aren't going to just suck it up and keep on my pace, that's for sure lol.
But I go to the gym alone 99% of the time anyway, so it's never an issue.
That's my thing too. It's not so much to "compete" with my friends but it's moreso that I don't want to have them constantly changing the weights for me so I just try to do what they have on there. It doesn't help that my mates are big guys that can leg press like 400lbs, haha.
I do enjoy the chatting / rotation because it makes the time go faster and their sets give you more time to rest before doing your next set.
True true I usually chat with my friends in between reps, to get the mind off of doing the weights.
I have guys watching me while I lift, because there certain muscle groups I can lift more than them on and it makes me a little uncomfortable. But I like to show off too!
You go girl! There was this meat head who came up to me, all buffed up with a tiny head. His first remark was, "Do you even lift?", I responded calmly, "Least I can count to 50, and can blow you Braun with my brain any day of the week mate."
He laughed and said, "Spoken like a true Britt, I like you." Bit of a awkward ending but oh well haha xD
Lol maybe he thought I could lift more who knows, and your welcome :)
Getting into "workout mode" is harder when there are friends around. I feel like I can't concentrate sometimes, which leads to shitty gains.
Exactly!!

not to act intimidating towards others LOL. when im with my friends in the gym i tend to feel bigger and "harder" even though if someone would approach me i'd just be myself. i prefer, though, to workout with friends as they can motivate you and slap your neck before a lift to get your adrenalin running baaha.
When I go with my friends, I go and just chat, I don't see any reason to go with them :) Better to hang out outside :)
Lol true if you wanna gossip and blast your selfie song (a guy did that last night), kindly put some headphones on or make it look like you're doing something haha
For me it would probably be going off course chatting. I'm very non competitive.
I have my days where I'm like, "Weights? Nah, I'm gonna go do cardio instead"
The timing. I like to Take classes at specific times, others don't,
Finding a schedule that work For everyone is the hardest part
That's true schedules don't always match for me either.
Biggest problem is you get side tracked and start chirping away and your gym session can go on for over 2 hours. when your by yourself its a intense 40 minute workout.
For me, it's the talking. When I'm at the gym I'm there to workout, not chat. It's distracting.
talking too instead of working out, is a downfall
True
Distractions from friends I guess.
keeping my hard on under control.
