Any ideas on how stop a sunburn from peeling?

I keep applying aloe vera lotion, and scrubbing away the dead skin, but it won't stop peeling :/ any suggestions on how to make ot stop? Or should I just let it come n go by itself?

I use a soap that has aloe in it and I rub aloe gel on the burn a few times a day. Make sure you buy aloe that has actual aloe Vera extract as the first ingredient. I usually don't peel if I'm good about putting it on

Aloe vera helps, but it just prolongs the inevitable. Depending on how badly you are burned, you are gonna peel sooner or later.

hydrocortisone, anti oxidants, and ibuprofin/aspirin will significantly mitigate peeling and dying skin

-Ibuprofen (it's not just for pain but an anti-inflammatory)
-Don't rub or scrub it (or use harsh soaps)
-Take a cold bath or shower
-Drink extra water (encourages skin healing & prevents bleeding)

there is nothing you can do. its just your body getting rid of the damaged tissue, all you can do is keep applying aloe vera gel to the site

Put the whites of an egg on it, raw. It actually acts as a second skin and heals the damaged skin, especially with burns.

Some people say that egg white thing is a old wives tale, but actually it really does work for some :)

It works everytime for my family. My dad had a second degree burn, put an egg on it, and it healed overnight. He is a really good healer too tbh, but it takes the pain of it away and everything :)

Just a moisturizer lotion works for me.
