What should I do now? My cheating bastard bf gave me chlamydia.?

Sooo... My boyfriend came to me a while ago and told me i should go to a clinic and get an sti check because it turns out he was cheating on me then caught it and we have been sexually active while he has had it... I went and got a check. FML now i have it too the fucking bastard... What to do? Im allergic to antibiotics which are given to treat it.:'(

Go to the clinic and inform the doctor that you're allergic to the medication and they should try to come up with a new solution. It's just an infection they have more than one way to treat it. I don't suggest making any other decision but that. Don't play around get tested as soon as possible. Chlamydia can get much worse if left untreated. A lot of people are unaware that clinics also use STI visits to keep outbreaks from occurring in an area and by visiting the doctor you not only help yourself but also your whole community. There are many STI's that can't be felt by some people but can still be carried and spread so please get checked and get advice from a licensed medical professional. It's not that bad of an experience they're usually kind, very helpful, discrete, and sometimes you even get to talk to a counselor that may help you with your relationship as well or at least that was my experience. If you've already done this than I suggest politely moving on. Just stop speaking to him. Cheaters are shunned for this very reason. In an "exclusive" relationship both individuals assume that they are the only ones having sex with each other and cheating shows a huge lack of respect for both the relationship and your body. Not to mention that he also cheated without using a condom which just screams stupidity. It's best to leave this person alone. I left my ex for the very same reason. Just do it calmly. There's no need to get overly upset about something that already happened and can't be erased. If he's anything like my ex he won't even bother to make excuses he'll no what he did wrong. She's still begging for me to come back and it's been almost two years now but she's changed dramatically. I'm not saying your situation will be the same but breaking up in my opinion is the best thing for both you and him.

There's got to be an alternative antibiotic you can take. Just get it cleared up and hopefully never get a dumb idea to get back with him.

Yeah he is aware of me being allergic but he said take the medication prescribed anyway. Fuck i hate my life right now :(

Don`t worry too much until you go to the doctor. There are alternatives to certain antibiotics. I had staff infection and am allergic to the antibiotic they use and they were able to give me an alternative.

How bad are the side effects to the antibiotics? If you can handle the dosage and get treated for the side effects it might work. There has to be an alternative treatment though. Good luck with it

File a lawsuit you are entitled to do so for these reasons. See an sti specialist who can deal with complicated treatments
