Why isn't diet and exercise just another example of patriarchy? Shouldn't men just be attracted to morbidly obese women if that's who they are?

If you love someone you should just love someone unconditionally, regardless if they can't leave the house because they don't fit through the front door.

I don't care if they were a size 4 when you dated them for 3 years and then the year you got married they were a size 40.
You love someone for who they are, not just because they are pretty to look at, right?

The current ideal that is slapped all over billboards and fashion mags is thinner than is healthy. What the "privileged white man choose to control is women's bodies – shaping them as closely as they can to the skinny beauty ideal – however ugly it actually is. Meanwhile, when women become obsessed with food (trying not to eat) they don’t have the time or energy to be powerful in the world in any way. Because going to the gym, eating healthy and then getting a good job is impossible and nobody has ever done it.

And i thought the idea was “It’s all about embracing your body, your body type… you just have to be confident with yourself and be proud of your body.”
Why does this not apply to skinny women as well as obese?

Yes, this bleeds with sarcasm.
