I'm 20 and I weigh 107 lbs, I'm also 5'2.. I'm very petite, and thin.. I really don't have much for boobs and I do have a bum, just it's petite. I don't really like my body, I've been scrawny all my life and was called anorexic and bulimic (false accusations, I've never been either) through must of highschool which really made me hate how skinny I am. It sucks eating and everyone commenting "you gonna puke that up later?" or your own friends asking if you ever eat? Or telling you that you need to eat. It's no secret that I'm abit underweight, I used to weigh 98 lbs two years ago, I worked hard to get to where I am now. It doesn't help that online all I see how men want and prefer thicker girls with big plump booties over skin and bones.. anyway, I'm alright with myself now, my boyfriend loves my body.. but still, I just have a really hard time gaining and keeping weight :( it really really sucks. If I don't eat enough, the pounds drop quite quickly, and that is not a good thing in my case.

Before you freak out, I'm not fat! lol I actually look very thin and fluctuate between 125-135lbs. But people tell me I carry my weight well and no one ever believes I'm that heavy :P
I don't think you need to lose weight, you're 14 so you're still growing, and depending on your height (I doubt you're shorter than me), you sound perfectly healthy. But exercise and nutritious eating with the goal of health or toning up is a good idea :)12 Reply
Asker+1 yI'm 5'0" haha ^-^ And im freaking out with my body and totally going overboard with eating and working out. But eh. I'm trying.

Oh girl, I'm sure you look fine! I had to lose weight when I was in bootcamp for the military. But they made me lol It was hard maintaining my weight to 120lbs, cuz that was the max they accepted for my height.
You can click my pic, sorry about the mess. That pic is fairly recent, but as you can see, I'm don't look overweight. I looked pretty much the same before bootcamp. But in bootcamp, I had nice abs. lol Now I lost the abs or they're covered by a little fat, but not a lot.
Just focus on healthy eating and exercise and you'll be fine :)

Last year i was at 264 (120 kg), so i lost about 51 (23kg) in a year.
I'm hoping to lose 44 lbs (20kg) more in the next 2 years.
I was very unhappy about my weight, so i started slimming down slowly (i still eat junk food and don't exercise that often, but every now and then i spend a whole weekend doing exercises and i just stopped eating candy in between meals or in evenings). I'm hoping to lose quite a bit more, because I noticed with my recent weight loss that I feel a lot more energetic and confident, but I'm still not at a "healthy" level so I'm going to keep going.
(I miss my snacks so much tho QQ)00 Reply
I'm 19 and, although I have no scale and thus don't really know my exact weight, I don't really gain much weight anyway and would say I'm about average, maybe slightly below average, maybe. Don't take my word for it but I'm fairly comfortable at where I am, although I could probably gain a bit more weight, though, as sometimes when I lie down I can see ribs, which I'm not exactly sure is very healthy.

+1 yI'm 20 and I weigh about 128. I'm happy with my weight. I gained about 15 lbs my freshman year in college , I used to weigh 112 I think. Everyone told me I looked better with more weight. idk. 116 sounds pretty normal for a 14 year old, how tall are you?
10 ReplyAge 31 and I'm 5'8, weight 126 pounds.
I'm pleased as I was an overweight as a child and early teen years. It does take more work to keep weight in check. If you become overweight as a child you actually do have more fat cells than someone who becomes overweight in adult hood. That's why they say that it is harder for fat kids to grow in to adults with healthy weight.00 Reply
+1 yi'm 22 a little over 5'7" and about 147 lbs. i'm ok with my weight. i'm down from my highest weight of 165 lbs which i'm happy about. ideally i would like to be in the high 120s/low 130s but with my lifestyle and lack of weight loss resources at the moment i would be happy with just losing a couple more for now. :)

I'm happy with my size and weight, but ideally I would get it down to around 165 - 170. Perfectly happy with my height. Makes things interesting (except dating) and age can't really do anything about it.00 Reply19 years old and 118 lbs. You realize weight in relation to height matters more than age to weight, right?

I'm not trying to lose weight, but I'm trying to lose a little extra fat around my thighs and tummy and tone up, which will probably make me a little heavier.14 Reply- +1 y
Lol is heavier better?

So it's just better because it's muscle weight? I guess that makes sense, I just wasn't sure if there was some other secret, unknown to womankind reason for it.
I'm 5'11 and currently 165 pounds. I've been 175 pounds when I used to do my exercises but stopped do to current situations. Good thing is that I have a real good metabolism. Thank god.

Lifting weights will not make you see a lot of difference when on a scale. Muscles weigh more than fat. You need to start keeping track of your fat percentage. You need to also engange in HIT work out, that will make you drop weight. So you need do a good combination of working out with weights and doing a lot of cardio next to it,
But most important, even more so than training, is your diet. You can work out like a mad woman, but if you don't eat the right type of foods and the right type of meals achieving results becomes very difficult.
Opinion Owner+1 yThanks @msFzb6!! :-) im going to speak to my trainer and look into this HIT workout, it sounds very interesting!!

Asker+1 yOh wow! How did you stay at 105 lbs?
- +1 y
I didn't. I worked my way down from 115. I maintain a fairly strict diet and exercise routine. My body also does not like to gain weight. I found it is very easy for me to drop weight and difficult for me to put it back on. So genetics and diet/exercise, I guess.
Asker+1 yThat's awesome :)
