You're basically causing yourself a biatch. Cancer is you but it's you malfunctioning. One cell dies but doesn't receive the message to destroy itself or the message isn't sent, so it continues producing dead cells at a rapid rate. It's kind of luck of the draw whether your cells receive the messages or not, but obviously other factors can increase the likelihood you develop it. It's just one of those things and probably is nature's way of population control but obviously we won't allow that to happen, we want to overrun the world.

cancer isn't a bitch... it's just a things that is trying to live, and in order to do that, it got to kill you. we see these examples everyday.
in order to our country to survive, we must kill the enemy, and the enemy is also trying to survive by killinbg you.

Population control, my friend. Mother Nature didn't intended for us to live forever, so by design we are ALL going to get cancer if we live long enough. It's unfortunate when it happens to the younger of us with lots of life still left to live. However, it's a necessary evil, otherwise humans would grow too old, outnumber the young (already happening) and live in agony as their organs slow started to shut down over the course of several years.

that would make more sense if 1. Cancer struck the old exclusively and 2. The only way people die is from cancer. Neither is true. When we get old, our hearts simply stop. That's usually how people die of old age. Not cancer.

Disease are meant to be a population control of the natural world. Human advancement in medical treatment of disease had made us live longer. Cancer is a biatch because we can't beat it and it's a pain in the ass at the moment.

That would be because the human body is imperfect. It is not a perfect system. There are flaws. Disease effects every one at some point in some way. Same with plants, other animals, the entire earth.

The reason people get cancer is because our DNA changes and these changes can damage our cells causing pre-cancerous changes. Those damaged cells then get copied and that is how cancer spreads.

Simple yes, intelligent no. The best way to beat something intelligent is to keep shit simple. When thing get to complex (humans) they loose track of basic foundation. The cancer cell hasn't changed one bit, it stuck to it's program, it reproduces and it multiply simple as hell nothing intelligent at all. If we get back to basics cancer will be defeat, but we keep out thinking ourselves to see that.

@arrowdynamics what you said didn't make much sense to me. Something simple doesn't always have a simple solution. What do you mean if we get back to the basics? Before advanced cancer treatment, the mortality rate was basically 100%. The more advanced our treatments get, the better the prognoses. We do not know what causes cancer for sure or how to cure it, so we are not smarter than the disease, which I am assuming is what harakiri was thinking.
