Choosing to pass on lifting weights isn't bad if you're otherwise fit. Weightlifting is about vanity some of the time, and it isn't for everyone.
Choosing to be unfit, however, is bad.
its not bad man. and its not all about vanity, some guys do it because they just want to be stronger.
Well for me I'm okay if a guy doesn't work out as long as he's healthy, but I prefer a man that's works out, its just sexy to me, because I'm a woman that's into fitness.
Just because you work out doesn't mean you're vain. It makes you stronger, healthier and happier. For me it's a mechanism against depression.

For me its about living a healthy lifestyle, and it helps me since I have chronic back pain, tennis elbow and a heart condition. Without it I'd shrivel up and be confined to a bed and have to take pain killers.
it will help when u get old also you don't want to look clumpsy, walk like u are dying, confidence, social life and so on.
When did working out in vain? I do it for health reasons mainly from hereditary complications.
Well, not getting any of the multitude of severe health problems related to being overweight would be just one of many benefits...
