Is it bad to live with a guy you are dating?

We spent last 3 days together and we met 3 days ago. He has his own place so we hang out there and went out for a date 2x. And we slept in the same bed together 2 days now.

I would think it's not the best idea. But, since this is a new person, spending lots of time with them initially is a common occurrence.

To keep some perspective on what's happening, though, it is best to keep your own places and spend some time apart. There is no need to rush into being sexual after three days and two dates.

Remember, you don't KNOW this person. You are GETTING to know them. Back off a bit and breathe. Take your time. Remember that song: Time is on Your Side.

Lol, my partner was pretty much living unofficially with me the day after we started dating (I lived in a house with roommates and with support from social educators so it was a bit tricky) and we officially moved in together after 3 months. We been together for over a decade now.

I’ve read some of your responses and my conclusion is this.
If you only get to see each other at weekends and not in the week, then that’s not a problem for you to sleep over at his or vice versa.
Also, if you both like each other that much then, Ummm, I think it’s a case of, Well, you know, Quality time to, Umm, Really put that time to good use to get, Oh yeah….. closer than close.

I’m sorry, but if you bang into each other, then literally have a Seriously, a good time and Do exactly what you need to do.

I think it is. Its good to be independent from something thats potentially temporary. Its like making a building.

if my foundation is weak then im probably not going to have a strong building. If anything happens and you both want to break up, well guess what you are stuck with each other until you know who can find a new place.

life is tough enough as it is, why make it worse by making poor decisions on where you lay your head at night. I love my peace to much to put myself in a compromising position.

If all you ever plan to do is date, living together is not a good idea.

In this case, only knowing each other for 3 days... it's a bit soon to live together. Spending a weekend at his place would be fine.

If I was in your seat, then yes it would be bad, for me.

Because I wouldn't know her enough, REALLY not enough, and even if I liked her a lot right at the beginning, even if we were matching in terms of ease to live with. Then it would still be super awkward to have her living with me right off the bat, at my place, or at hers. Because I would not have had enough time to learn or adapt to how privacy, personal space, is handled between us.

It's not bad, because you're obviously still getting to know each other. It's a good sign you want to spend time together.

But you're not actually living with him right now. That will only be the case when you pick up your things in the house you live in right now, pack everything in boxes or suitcases and move in permanently. That's a decision that takes time and should not be taken lightly. Dating is different than spending 24/7 with someone.

I dont think its the smartest move to make if you wanne turn this is into something longterm. Especially in the beginning you should be giving eachother some space or you will risk to take away the exitement of a having a new relationship away very quickly which can result in agitation
