The past 3 years i've been dealing with the opposite problem. I have super fast metabolism so i don't gain weight easily. I started to workout and i'm much better, but i still need some pounds until i feel like the muscular type. Now, what we both have in common is that we need to work hard to achieve our goals. This is an extreme example, but just look at some participants of that tv show The Biggest Loser. After a month or so they are still fat but they can run and exercise like hell. Being active and able to endure hard physical activities doesn't mean you don't have excess of body fat. So like Illusive_Man said, get that caliper and measure your body fat ratio. From your profile picture it's easy to tell that you have some, and that's ok. If you think you're active, then the problem must rely on your diet. Try lowering your daily calorie intake, for example. There is so much information on this topic on the Internet, you just have to search for it. It's good that you are familiar with physical activity, because you will need it too to reach your goals. Just never give up, and start a strict diet and exercise program. I never worry about the charts, but more about how you feel and what you can do.
I ADORE women with curves and you picture is very sexy. The fact that you are highly active and not lazy means that you are in good shape physically even with soft curves.
Women with curves are very sexy to me. Please don't change anything and don't feel like you are fooling yourself. You are sexy and beautiful and have nothing to worry about.
Not all obese people are ugly but if you are obese it would be beneficial for you to try to get in shape. My uncle is a doctor and he says that extremely obese people have a very hard time losing weight. It's when you are between that you have an easier time losing weight. If you cut out white bread, starchy vegetables and complex carbohydrates - you can lose weight immediately and without any effort.
If you're happy with yourself and your lifestyle don't worry about it. Can you do everything you want? Do you feel healthy? If yes, then you're good to go. If not, look at your lifestyle and decide what you think you might like to change to help you do the things you want.

I'd say you're fine, you're not skinny but you seem to be in fair shape and you look good. I know how it is being big but still in good shape, I'm 5'8 235 but you'd never guess I was that big.
You could stand to lose some weight, but like I said you look good as you are. BMI is total bullshit anyway.you're not obese but you are overweight from looking at your stomach, if you worked on your stomach you would look normal and curvy. dont bother with bmi, it doesn't take into account muscle mass which weighs three times as much as fat and from your active lifestyle and your picture i bet a lot of that 175lbs is muscle because a fat 175lbs girl would be a lot wider.
in fairness you look really good, its just the stomach i think that needs a bit of toning upSome people are just bigger naturally. I knew a couple chubbyish girls who were in sports teams that practiced a lot so they got a lot of exercise.
Some chubby woman I sort of knew, her BMI was bad, but all other health checks were perfect. Those BMI charts are kinda outdated tbh, because while it is a good guide, they don't always give the true picture.Your weight means nothing.

Now THAT means something.BMI charts can be inaccurate. It sounds like you're quite active and muscle weighs more than fat.

And honestly if you're that active I don't think you have anything to worry about. You obviously have a lot of muscle and stamina.It wouldn't hurt to lose 10-20 lbs. it'll be healthier for you
Why is it that when I weighed 166.0 lbs everybody called me FAT. but you're just overweight.
You're not fat but losing some weight wouldn't do any harm.
