How long till my beard grows properly? Please help?

Right, so I'm really frustrated because I really, really want to grow a beard.

ALL, yes ALL the males in my family can grow full beards, except me (for the moment at least). As you can see in the picture, a beard can be grown everywhere under my chin and throat. My beard grows pretty well on my top lip as well.

However, I don't know if you can see properly, I've got these little hairs poking out of my cheeks. I don't know whether these will get longer and fuller or not (?)

I've had a lot of people, mostly men with full beards, tell me that I'm on my way, and that I'd definitely suit one.

What can you tell me?

Give it 2 weeks, trim it so its all the same length, and just keep waiting. https://i.imgur.com/JjvJych.jpg this is my beard after about 2 months. Dont shave it, there is always that awkward stage of every grow, just trim and keep it tidy until you like the length.

it doesn't grow in the goatee area yet, but thats mainly age.

basically why do you want a beard? you'll look older by a decade that way :-P

anyway... just dont shave and it will grow i guess

I look old anyway haha... I'm 20, but people think I'm 25-26 xD
