I recommend you take martial arts. The biggest reason is because you have interest in it. I took martial arts for 4 years and there were two girls with me for a couple of years. Nothing weird about that. Martial arts is great for your body in general because you exercise. You move your body, lift people, throw them, do all kinds of moves to make them fall, and so on. And of course, it could save your life someday. You learn how to fall without hurting yourself, roll to quickly get up on your feet, stop attackers from sticking a knife in you, get them out of your opponents hand, etc. Same with guns and sticks. It's a great sport. Strongly suggest you take it.

Do it anyway. You don't need other girls in order to learn a martial art or combat sport. You'll just learn from the guys. And if you ever get to spar with them, you'll be more than prepared if you ever decide to compete. Sparring with someone bigger and stronger than you and never winning is the best conditioning for facing someone in your own weight class.

You could add Yoga, or Tia Chi which have more women, or seek out a woman only martial arts class (there are quite a few out there). Also there are many women in the running community. But don't let you gender stop you from doing what you love.
