alli pill, but only if you follow it how it should be taken... don't eat greasy foods with it, or you'll have greasy discharge and ruin your panties. Lose 10lbs in 1 month if you follow it correctly.
For Energy: carbs can either turn into fat or energy... depending on how much water you intake.
so eat carbs BUT make sure to drink a LOT OF WATER...
without enough water, those carbs will turn to fat... with ample water, they will transform into energy, and you'll be energetic! :D!
Don't eat white fluffy stuff... and at night, eat wet carbs such as, cucumbers, leafy green salads, tomatoes, steamed asparagus etc. so that your body stays hydrated throughout the night while you sleep. Avoid dry carbs at night, such as pasta breads etc.
Don't bother with pills. And don't try any of these fad diets. diets don't work long term either. Change your way of eating, portion control is the key. People eat far too much more than they need to live on. Also balance out your carbs, protein, veg, fats and sugars. Exercise, as you said. 1/2 hour fast walk every day will use 100-130 calories. That equates to 1/4 lb per week, 1lb a month, from just that amount of exercise. Another tip. Have two 100 calorie treats a day. 2 biscuits mid afternoon, say. Don't avoid totally the foods you like, just cut down a bit. Use low fat foods, such as lighter-than-light mayo.
