What's worse for you, period cramps or gas pains?


I get period cramps that hurt but honestly I've had worse gas pains.

I rarely had period pains, when I had periods. I did one time have period pain so bad that I was disabled in pain on my bed for at least half an hour.
I have IBS though and the pains can be extreme, to the point that I worry that my abdomen will explode or I'll have internal bleeding. I have IBS pain more than anything.

This is the ghastly thing that happens to me almost every day. :'(

It depends sometimes my period doesn't bother me but when it does it hurts really bad. Gas pains are bad too but for me I think that both are equally painful.

I get both. Period cramps are definitely much worse for me. Gas pains just kinda feel like you have too much acid in your stomach (my experience), but period cramps feel like a tornado of hot knives swarming and slicing your insides. It's hell for me 😧 or sometimes my period cramps are more of a pressure feeling, which makes me want to shit the whole day :( it's so uncomfortable. On a scale of 1-10, gas is a 3 and period cramps are an 8.75.

Gas pains tend to be much worse for me. They come on fast and strong. Whereas cramps are more dull and stable, easier to ignore.

They are not mutually exclusive for me. My stomach always gets upset when I get my period I get diarrhea for the first two or three days. Been like that since I was ten.

Both! They're horrible. I, of all people, should know.

Usually they’re one in the same. I get a stomachache, I belch and fart really loud and long a couple of times, and the stomachache goes away.

period cramps are the worst. sometimes you throw up because of how bad the pain is.
