I don't believe that it's rare, and I believe it all comes down to bone structure and health as well. I never even noticed my thigh gap until it was a trend. It's absolutely ridiculous, I've never heard any guy talk about and give his opinion on a girls thigh gaps. I have wider hips and muscular thighs and the gap is definitely there. Girls, love your thighs, love your bodies and be proud of them. Who cares?

I will never understand the whole thigh gap phenomenon. My best friend raves about them, she has a beautiful body and strong legs. I have a small thigh gap, and always have even though my legs are pretty fit. Just live healthfully. not everyone with have one. nothing like a fit set of thighs, skinny or thick

Contrary to popular opinion, having a thigh gap doesn't mean you're fit and healthy. Also, most fit and healthy people don't have a thigh gap.

That's not what it means. It means your hips are wide enough and your legs are thin enough that your thighs don't touch. That's it.

That is ridiculous, lots of women carry weight in all different areas of their bodies, some do in thighs/legs. You can be fit and healthy and not have a thigh gap.

Specific combination of narrow bones and wide hips. That's actually pretty common knowledge. Also, I've seldom ever seen a "fit and healthy" person with a thigh gap. Most any girl I've seen with any muscle on their thighs whatsoever doesn't have one unless they have this specific type of bone structure.

No it isn't rare, but most ladies don't have the bone structure to get one. I have a huge one, but that's because I'm anorexic! The thigh gap is the dumbest trend I've heard of, and ladies starve themselves to get one sometimes.
