Weight loss in the face but not the rest of the body... why?

I have been going to the gym for the past three weeks and I have already noticed weight loss. However, not where i want to see it. I have lost a lot of weight in my face, yet the rest of my body has stayed pretty much the same... just more toned. Why is this happening? I dont want to get a really skinny face. Is there anything i can do about this?
