What does having a "compact body" mean?

I've been told by some people that I'm short and petite, but I also hear the term "compact body" thrown around a lot. Just wondering what that means because I've always had an average build and shorter than average height? :) Please describe what this means and is it an insult or a compliment? Lol :) Thanks in advance everyone!

I guess it's a nice way of saying you are small. or a compliment if you like being small.

It usually means tight and firm. Generally, it is a compliment.

Sometimes but don't still don't have much muscle, lol :) Is that what you think it means?

I tend to think of a girl who is a bit shorter, perhaps a bit more thick in certain places (not fat, could be muscle) than other girls, but thinner in others. Petite, but strong.
