How do I get rid of my bacne?

Last year, I noticed that acne was starting to grow on my back. Before it grew a lot, I picked at it a lot, which made it worse. Recently, my bacne has gotten a lot worse and I've been trying to make it disappear. I use Purpose wash to try to get the acne off. It has worked some, but when I look in the mirror, there is still a ton of red spots from my acne or possibly scabs from when I picked at it. How can I get the acne to disappear from my back and is there any way I can get the scabs to disappear too? The scabs aren't bad, and they don't feel like scabs, I think they are more skin now, but they are still the most noticeable part of my back because they are quite red. Help please!!!

I would either see a dermatologist to see what they think just incase you try all these things and it makes it worse or something. I don't know if this will work for you since you said you have the scabs also but I used tea tree body wash and it cleared up my bacne in a few weeks. I don't know if it works for everyone but I had it all over and it looks so much better, there's a little scarring but it cleared it up so much. Good luck (:

You can try using a body wash like

with a loofa and then follow with toner or astringent over the area.

get a charcoal face exfoliate (usually around 10 bucks or so) make sure it has those scrubbing beads in it) and just use it as body wash. After done , make sure you dry off with a clean towel and I would just let your back pores breathe. I also started wearing more breathable clothing material. I used to have bacne and it worked. got completely rid of it after 2 weeks showering once every 2 days or whenever I sweated.

I like to use witch hazel, Manuka honey, coconut oil and tea tree oil diluted. Drink lots of water and green tea. Also eat the honey just a spoonful a day. Take zinc supplement. If this fails see a dermatologist

I would go an accutane/isotretinoin if i were you. Body acne is difficult to take care of with simple regimens. It needs to be treated with powerful systematic drugs. Accutane is a curative so it does work and will clear you 100%.

Do I have to be prescribed that or is it OTC? And is it pilll form?

Definitely not otc, it is strong prescription medicine. You need to get your doctor to refer you to a dermatologist to look at the condition of your skin in order to prescribe the right dosage. It is pill form.
You also need to have blood tests done every month for as long as you're on it to monitor your vitals and just make sure the drug doesn't affect your body in a negative way since there can be serious risks associated with accutane.
Usually though there are no risks reported, the only side effect that i had was excessive dryness of the skin. Otherwise it was fine and completely cleared me up in 6 months.
You should definitely look into it if your acne is mild-severe.
