Question about weight, and sugar?

Anonymous
Over the summer I have been exercising on a treed mill and also elliptical, everyone i know has said something about how much weight i lost and says they notice it a lot around my hips (i have rather wide hips naturally,) well my sister had a doctors appointment and i went along with her so i could weigh on the scale they have there because i trust it more, when i got on it i gained two points, and looking back at my records, i only lost about 3 pounds all summer, yet people say i've slimmed down a lot, and it looks like i've lost a larger amount of weight... people there we're telling me my fat must be turning to muscle, which is my body is becoming more toned, and it looks like im thinner, so the first part of my question is- How is that possible? And will the rest of my body fat turn to muscle? If it does turn to muscle, will there be extra fat left that i'll have to lose? Or will i just keep gaining weight from the muscle? Part two of this question is about sugar, i have a deadly attraction to sugar, which is really the main reason to my weight, i just can not give it up, i have sugar bursts where i just need sugar, yet when i eat it i get really guilty, so my question would be- how can i get over this major sugar craving i feel, and stay away from it?
