Exercise at least three times a week for an hour ( so either one hour every other day 30 mins everyday) and eat balanced meals. A proper plate should consist of 1/2 veggies or fruit, 1/4 complex carb (such as brown rice, quinoa or wheat bread, etc), and your protein should be the size of your palm. For exercise I think weight lifting is most effective (don't worry about getting bulky, women lack the necessary hormones to get muscles like men), I think it's more effective because it burns calories long, and build lean muscle which burns calories by just existing. If you want bigger muscles (example, larger butt or arms) then do heavy weighted exercises with low reps (low weight high rep) and if you want smaller leaner muscle do low weights high rep (this basically toned preexisting muscle. And add about 20mins of cardio of your choice. This is what I find most affective but great at home workouts like blogilates or tone it up on YouTube are great and free.
Staying motivated us hard, but I suggest making a vision board. It sound stupid but it works (mine has a picture if my setting or before body and next to it are a bunch of pictures of my dream body) seeing how far I had come or was going really set the tone of my day and reminded me what I was working for. I also keep one picture of my dream body on the fridge so that it reminds me to make smart choices about what I'm eating

Breatheee. Okay now understand your body's gonna be going through changes over the next few years-many of which you won't really like. Try to ask for McDonald's salads or make your own healthier dinner, and just stay active. Don't stress (stress may cause your metabolism to slow down!) and it'll be okay.
You are 13. You are still growing. If you eat sensibly and healthily, exercise (take gym class!) then you'll be fine.
Just try adding more exercise but that is normal for your age

avoid mcdonalds! by all means.. that stuff is crap.. but at the end of the day you're still 13. that stuff is fine in moderation once in 2 months with exercise... it will some efforts but you've got this.. :) stop soda gradually if its hard at first.. but if you're super dedicated then stop everything all at once specially mcdonalds and fizzy drinks they're soooo harmful... you're physique is defined 80% by what you eat and the rest 20% by genetics and workout. I was just like you... my parents did the same.. if it were'nt for my uncle and aunt who are fitness instructors.. You can do this! <3 :D
Well the getting healthier part will help. Just stay active too.
But, you're 13 and some of that is completely normal. It's puberty, you'll curve out a bit.
Trust me, it'll calm down in a few years too.Lol this is normal. It's just the view you have one your body. You're probably fine.
But I suggest watching calories and have it around 2,000 a dayjust eat better.
