I really want my tongue pierced but I don't know if it will look slutty or whore-like. I really need a buys opinion. HELP!

I'm a girl but I'm going to put my two cents in, just to be that downer person-

They're dangerous, if they go in wrong there could be complications, they're also very very susceptible to getting infected, and the infection will be bad. There are tons of bacteria in your mouth and an open wound is hard to maintain, especially with food, and stuff getting stuck in there. I've seen it happen at least three dozen times. My aunt is a radiologist and the x-rays are disgusting.

So do it 'cause it can look pretty cool. Just keep in mind food get stuck in it, bacteria infects it super easily, taking care of it can and will be a bitch. Also it can damage your teeth and gums, especially when metal is used.

I had mine pierced for a while...turned out that it was pretty annoying. It ended up chipping a couple of my teeth (it was fixable, though). I also think strangers looked at me like I was a slut.

As for the whole sex aspect, it ended up being really awful. My boyfriend said it just felt weird, and it was harder for me to give him head while it was in. I ended up taking it before I would do that. After awhile, I just took it out for good and don't regret it.

Piercings are not for girls who care about others' opinions. It's one of the reasons I like them.

I know I'm not a guy, but I personally don't think that it looks slutty. I do, however, think that a lot of guys look at it as an advertisement of a girl's sexual availability.
