some special food? Name the food (fruits, vegetables, seeds, etc)
Healthy ways to gain weight?
some special food? Name the food (fruits, vegetables, seeds, etc)
Eat food. That sounds condescending, but it isn't. Many things marketed as food are in fact not food. Find fruits and vegetables that you actually enjoy, and learn to prepare them without excessive condiments (ideally with none). Learn to pick out quality produce. This is harder than it sounds as you have to learn each kind of produce individually.
I, for example, get bananas and strawberries in smoothies (you would need a blender). Onions, rice, peas, corn in fried rice. Spinach in sandwiches. Broccoli, apples, peachs, kiwi, assorted nuts on their own, just as craving fillers.
Meat is usually easier as it generally comprises the bulk of a meal. Learn to cook eggs. Really, get good at cooking eggs.
A good rule of thumb is, if you don't know the actual components of what you are eating, it probably is not real nutritious food.
1. Lift heavy weights,
2. Eat protein, (meat, dairy, nuts, cheese, beans, eggs)
3. get plenty of sleep.
I want to focus on the first point there, tons of girls swing around little dumbbells and wonder why they aren't toned, you have to LIFT HEAVY ASS WEIGHT to build muscle. You have to overload your body, shock and traumatize your muscles to break them down and rebuild stronger. Don't worry about getting "muscly", girls lack the testosterone and hormone profile to get muscly.
You have know idea how many times I repeated that paragraph as a college personal trainer.
I couldn't walk for 2 days, believe me, my muscles are shocked ππ
Good! so make sure to eat to fuel your body with protein. You can do shakes too, but Do not become reliant on them--shakes are only to fill in gaps BETWEEN meals.
Oh yeah, I'm taking shakes, a put a banana, oatmeal, peanut butter, rice milk and protein.
I've been doing this for a month and I'm not gaining any weight! It's very difficult for me to gain weight
Peanut butter, slow carbs , bulk bulk bulk sistah! A great way is to incorporate full fat food and meats as well as slow carbs, fruits and vegetables and to do weighted resistant workouts. For bulking you need a medium amount of reps with as much weight as u can handle. Remember to sleep too because otherwise your training will not be as good and u can't repair your muscles as well
"bulking" gives you great credibility, she must lift.
@ConsultantIsBack sarcasm?
No! no sarcasm. "bulking" "cutting" is bodybuilding language
I've heard that lean beef, cottage cheese, skinless chicken, and fish helps gain muscle mass.
Also, lift a bunch of heavy-ass weights😂
I know it'll hurt, I attempted doing weights which ended up in my sister treating me to ice cream😏

muscle mass eh, eat more protein and lift weights :P
If you think fruits, veggies, and seeds are what you need to gain weight, that's your problem right there. You need meat, eggs, and milk. And excercise never hurts. Maybe some cheeky physical workouts 😉 you know, get all hot and sweaty by doing some repitition. Over and over again till you just can't take it anymore and scream. 😩💥😜
Hahaha thaanks!!
To gain muscle you have to be in excess range of calories, problem is you'll gain fat if you dont tweek your work out
30% protein - leans meats, eggs, fish cottage cheese milk and protien whey
50% carbs - complex carbohydrates mixed in with simple carbs for insuline spikes at critical times
30% fats - polysaturated fats, omega 3 omega 6 like olive oil, almonds, nuts
You will have to deplete your carb storage during heavy wieght sessions and then do cardio after to burn off excess fat. Taking BCAA will help you achieve this - aminos acid
Gaining muscle mass is not so dependent on what you eat as much as it is overall calorie content. You need to be eating more food and you need to be following a hypertrophy focused strength training program. This means working hard in the gym on weightlifting.
You just need to know basic calorie+protein intake and proper exercise.
Look through my best answers I don't feel like looking it up again...
Exercise=Compound lifts. You need to do squats and deadlifts and do them right (form) Start on a program of 5 sets of 10 with moderate weight until you master form.. . Then do heavier sets like 5x5 with weight you can only do 5 sets.
If you want muscle mass then you want protein. There's different kinds of protein. Two major ones to focus on are whey and casein. You want casein during your rest periods and whey within 3 hours of you exercise periods. For casein Cottage cheese is a great bedtime snack. It's filled with protein that breaks down slowly which is perfect for when you're sleeping.
Gonna say you look good now! :) But proteins, whey protiens, protien shacks mixed with strength training. Lay of off sugars and things that give you the extra fat you don't want!: hope this helped!
Thanks, it did help ππ
Your welcome! Always here to help!
If you can, get a job that's labor-intensive.
Just by doing your job, you'll help people, make money, and get leaner without extra effort. I've already lost 10 pounds and got muscular in just 3-4 months.
Everything thats protein is good for the muscles. But you can't just eat protein only and you'll be fine. You need a well balanced mealplan with cheap receipes. Go to a counselour and ask him to make you one.
Honestly... I think you look perfectly fine the way you are, wouldn't gain more weight.
More muscles should be obvious... do sports :p
My legs and butt are not big enough for my taste lol
Lol ππ
Nice try π π
Lift and
Tuna, lean bison, chicken breast, salmon, egg whites and many more. Oh and buy whey protein
I have it, 1kg of whey protein, but I have like 200g left lol gotta buy more, any brand recommendation?
Thanks ππ
Eat more meat, lean meat tho. Like skinless chicken breast, lean ground beef/turkey. Or just buy a weight gainer
Protein... like white meat chicken breast baked in the oven. Don't add salt, since that is sodium and can make you bloat. A lot of my friends eat that with brown rice and broccoli and drink a ton of water.
Consume a lot of protein and carbs (healthy carbs) and workout
Example of healthy carbs?
Like stay away from cookies and stuff like that.
Increase protein in diet like meat eggs fish milk and exercise a lot, exercise until you are sure you used all the calories you ingested
it's a combination of Food, lifestyle, and exercise. pick a goal weight. if it;s higher, increase your caloric intake. if it's lower, decrease it. if you're looking to gain a particular type of weight, adjust your nutrition accordingly. (muscle generally means more protein.) don't forget exercise. something gentle that helps curves develop with weight gain is Yoga, but for more muscle, strength/endurance training will help greatly.
If you want muscle a 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fat works well for most people.
But you'll still have to lift weights
peanut butter, more meals throughout the day. just more calories thats the only way.
Proteins. Mainly meat, fish, egg and lentils. Dairy products. And you need to do some sort o resistant training to form muscle mass.
Chicken, steak, broccoli cauliflower carrots, oatmeal, dairy like milk, eggs, small amounts of cheese, avocados, there is no magic pill or powder there's only food if you need more advice google and youtube are excellent ways of getting info
