    Start doing resistance training. High weight, low rep. By the time you get to 6-8 reps, you should barely be able to lift the weight. Take a short rest, then repeat. Eat protein before and after your workout. This will give your muscles the basic building blocks they need to repair and increase.
    If you're looking to build mass, then this is a good way to do it. You can also look into sports supplements, but I'd suggest getting into a workout routine before shelling out the cash for those.

    I'm skinny myself and after years of moping about I finally started going to the gym. Granted it's a once in a week thing for now but after I finish this class I'm going to sign up somewhere. But yeah if you want to gain strength by all means go there but remember it's like 70% diet and 30% workout.
