And for electric razors, do u have to replace the blades? Mine is a norelco phillips.
The age thing is a little off, Im not an adult just learning how to shave
I don't know about razors but for electric clippers if depends on how much they ware down and how often you use and clean them.
Do you use a spray on you clippers? If you don't you might wanna look it getting on cause spraying down your blades not only cleans and cools the blade but protects it from rust.
I use this:

Spray your clippers, turn em on for like 4 seconds, then wipe it down and use.
It'll extend your blade life.
I use "kiss my face" it's a shaving lotion. Blades seem to last longer. As far as blades go buy the ones you can afford. The more blades the more they cost & don't really do a better job.

Schick is a good brand. I find they last well. I have no idea about electric razors but it makes sense they'd have to be changed.
@PropaneAccessories
ok, thanks
I'm the worst person to ask, I rarely shave :P

For electric razors yes you have to replace the bear leads every six months or so.
If you want a permanent solution, I would suggest a disposable straight razor such as the diamond edge offered on Amazon. You can get disposable blades for it, they’re very inexpensive. The thing about straight razor shaving is do you have to be very careful about it and proficient or you gonna cut yourself. I actually prefer the electric razor and I did straight razor for many years. Straight razor definitely feels wonderful and is very smooth, but it just takes a lot of time, focus, and you still get cuts now and again
