basically this is my body
I heard it's really hard for a skinny guy to build some muscle though...
any advice or tips?
You should absolutely workout. You have a great base to work with. Have a search for jason blahas beginner workout, or something similar
Squat/leg press
Deadlifts
Rows
Pullups
Bench/dumbell press
Overhead press/shoulder press
Curls and tricep cable work
Those are what you want to be doing, train hard and heavy, with proper form, and more importantly you need good nutrition! Lots of whole foods, beans, lentils, fruit, veg.
I'm a vegan so I won't recommend meat or dairy lol.
I was in worse shape than you when I started 3 years ago. Iv used gear though, but don't touch gear for at least a year until you have your diet and training nailed. You'll start to see results within a few weeks if you are doing it right. You can gain 1-2lb per week of muscle easy
LOL at Jason Blaha you fcking serious OP?

@tony72722. Oh do please explain what's wrong with his training programs? I'll wait
@tony72722 so you cannot fault his program?
I didn't think so :)
LOL Jason Blaha is obese. Just follow the bro split.
@Joshua2332 but his program has nothing to do with his boyfriend %.
The bro split is shit
its not impossible. anyone can build muscle, you just really need a strong plan that will work for your body if your genetics are working against you.
if you have trouble building muscle then you can't just lift weights and expect them to grow, you'll need to go about it a strategic way. I would suggest consulting with a nutritionist and physical trainer, (for free), if possible, and get an idea of what you can do to get to where you want to be. anyone can build muscle and have the body they want, you just have to try and never give up.
great answer I just need the determination to eat what is required and the time to actually do the physical workout
you look good to me honestly.
if you wanna gain muscle weight, reduce cardio and do more weight lifting.
Plus more proteins and calorie intake.
You look absolutely fine to me. :) But if you want to get a bit buffer to feel more confident, then go right ahead. Confidence is awesome!

I see what you mean... being lean and light framed would make it difficult to pack on the muscle. I think there are a lot of people pointing you in the right direction though.
I would consult with someone at one of the stores like GNC, etc, and look into increasing your proteins and eating some higher caloric foods to pack on some weight. They can probably help direct you towards something that will help you pack on some weight and allow you turn that into muscle with your workout regiment.
Should just try anyway
If you have a high metabolism then it will be harder but that obviously depends on the person
Great body man
I want to be the best I can man, thanks for the compliment. honestly the lifting isn't my concern it's just the eating part
you just need to put on muscle which means tons of protein and calories. it's more about hitting that high calorie count and continuing doing your lifts than any lift you're not doing
dude it's not even the lifting part that will trouble me it's the eating I would have to eat so much and I don't know if I can do that
You have a good body man, no need to for working out :)
Lots of protein amino acid and cretein
you a skinny guy too?
yeah u start liftng
