I wear a 34B bra cup, my waist is 26 inches and my hips are about 33 inches...
Do I have an hourglass figure?

That's more what they call a "top hourglass". Yr hips are still a bit on the small side for the true hourglass figure.
But srsly we're talking bombshell status, considering yr hips probably still have some filling out to do.
I don't think that's quite an hourglass... But it's pretty close.
So... what exactly needs to be done to get the hourglass figure?
You can't change your body type, as you get older your hips my get a bit wider but you can't change your body.
What I'd advise doing is wearing clothes that make you hips look bigger.

No way to tell without a picture. Your rib cake could be a barrel one and your butt may just be sticking out so there's the hip measurements...
Only a picture will tell.
You sound like me, a pear shape
How so? :)

smaller top, wide waist, short and skinny
... nope. Pretty much completely the opposite of that.
B-cup standard is about +2" compared to the band size. So her measurements are 36-26-33. Full on top, smallish waist, moderate hips. Pretty much an exact inversion of the pair shape.
@redeyemindtricks she and I have the same exact body type and I'm a pear shape. (I'm 100 pounds and I'm 5'3")
What are yr measurements?
If you are 36-26-33 and someone has told you that yr a pear shape, then that particular someone is blind. (:
@redeyemindtricks
I'm a 36-26-35
@redeyemindtricks I have wide hips lol
36-26-35 is solidly in hourglass territory. If those are yr measurements, anyone calling you a pear shape is just being a hater. A jealous hater.
@redeyemindtricks I thought small breasts came into play with body shape?
Those labels are determined by your principal silhouette, which is yr around-bust, waist, and hip measurements.
Breast size itself isn't the issue. When people focus on breasts, that's because women are focusing on things that are actually within their control. (Breast augmentation is a routine operation, and the results look very natural when it's performed by a competent surgeon. By contrast, there's no "waist reduction" surgery, LOL... there's corsetry, but that only does so much, and it's painful and temporary and sort of weird, too.)
If you already have those measurements with smaller breasts, then you've just been gifted with a nice amount of taper in yr waist. And haters gna hate.
@redeyemindtricks haha alrighty then, thank you.
Also, FWIW, a lot of girls are walking around wearing the wrong size bra, and the majority of them are wearing a band that's too big and a cup that's too small.
If you have any of these things happening, then that's the issue: Slipping/falling straps, hooking on the last (innermost) hook, quadboob (lol), band rides up in the back, gore lifted off yr chest, or underwire poking you.
None of those should be happening.
With respect to the hourglass discussion these things are neither here nor there, but, most of the women I work with aren't wearing the right size, and they're 5-10 years older than you. (: It doesn't help that the VS people are pretty bad at sizing, either.
sounds like rectangle shape girly
