I workout regularly but when i do extremely intense and long workouts like i did yesterday my face seems to look tired and rough looking for the next day or two afterwards.. I get enough sleep too.
Clearly your body is not going into recovery mode quickly enough. You are pushing your body too hard.

could be your body is recovering so not much blood in your face. or you could be dehydrated as hell
That is natural. You lost energy and fluid and you need to replace those.
