Not necessarily no I have a fairly big chin from what you can see in my picture and I've never been KO'd and I am a martial artist who spars regularly and used to do tournament and championship level fighting.
Part of it is how strong your neck muscles are as you don't want your head to jerk back when your hit as that will leave you stunned and easily hit by a follow up, and position is key as well whether you have it tucked in or out in the open. And of course how powerful of an opponent you are fighting to and the strength of their punches and the angel from were it hits.
So there are other things at play other then the size of the jaw but it's always been my understanding that bigger/stronger chins and jaws generally take the blow better, but like I said there are other factors at play besides that.

Solid jaw tends to maybe take the blow better, but internal geometry matters, it can be hard to identify a solid chin by looks.
Neck muscles make a difference too.
No, bigger typically means stronger.

Depends, I think wide chins are solid and long chins are like glass.
My understanding is that the opposite is true. Big jaw, harder to KO.
It's not really the size of the chin, yes a big chin makes it an easier target, but it's the contact on the chin that matters. I've been knocked out and had my bell rung a few times.
When fighting just tuck it in.
