I'm sorry to hear that you are in pain, I hope you feel better soon! I would eat between 1200-1500 calories a day and also limit your sodium intake. Start around 2000 mg and move gradually down to between 1000-1200 mg a day. Once you are losing weight stick at around 1000 mg a day. Also drink plenty of water and try to exercise as best as you can for at least 30 mins 3-5x a week with some cardio it calisthenics. I hope this helps :)
2 lbs a week? ughhh... hmm.. I would advise 1 lbs a week, but the way to go about losing weight in a healthy manner, exercise everyday if you can, as long as you're not damaging your body/joints, and maintain a proper healthy nutritious diet, eat clean, no junk foods, and most importantly, do not over eat, even if it's healthy food. eat until you're not hungry, not until you're full.
Walking. The most simple exercise. Walk at least one hour every day and you'll lose much more after a week.
