No, they do not. I wish they did. I was heavily into self mutilation between the ages of 12-17, I have a wide variety of scar depths all over my body. The less deep ones did fade a small amount, but not completely. The deeper ones did not fade at all. I can tell you that sun does not help either, the skin around them will tan and they wil stay their normal color, which makes them way more noticeable. I have even tried scar treatments and they do not work. After 12 years of living with these scars, I have become used to the questions and looks from people, I've thought about covering them up, but they are who I used to be, they tell a story of my past... I am not comfortable with them, but I've learned to accept each and everyone of them
Depends on a few factors. I have a surgical scar I was told if I applied this and that cream and avoided sun for this and that time, the scar would fade away, but it's just as visible as the day I got it despite following to the t the instructions I was given. I felt like that was just doctor bs I was given to make me feel as though I wouldn't have a permanent scar for the rest of my life. I mean flip side, can't complain as it might have been life saving, so you know, have scar or die... um, have scar.
Other just plain skin level life scars have definitely faded over time. Some still there, but faded.
well by definition scars don't heal. it is the area where skin doesn't heal from a wound and as a result fibrous connective tissue has developed.
now some scarring is very very feint and your pigment can show through it so you hardly realize there is a scar. then there are more significant scars that can be discolored from the rest of the body and/or be raised or sunken depending on the injury
they say putting vitamin E on a healing cut, once open wound has healed, helps generate white blood cells to the area which can help heal the skin.
Only the most mild scars heal. And even they don't usually heal completely if you look closely. They become less noticeable, but don't go away completely. Also, they tend to not tan as well as other skin. So they tend to show more in the summer.
I have a scar on my leg that's been there for 50 years. It's not even that big, like maybe 1cm long. It was kind of deep, but not enough to require stitches.

Shea butter has done a very great job at removing all my facial scars. I've had some really deep scars on my face and they are all gone thanks to shea butter.
Get yourself natural and unheated shea butter that's grade a it won't disappoint. External treatment is necessary because even though your body can rid you of the scars on its own, you'll only be relying on internal treatment but why not get the best of both Worlds by getting treatment from both, outside (external) and inside (internal)? It'll make things much much faster. Drink plenty of water too, preferably a gallon a day.
Depending on it, also certain things you can do. I was hacking a bunch of blackberry plants out of my yard and ended up getting a bunch of thorn cuts/scrapes during it, surprisingly even left scars for maybe up to a year but then went away. I still have a scar from when something went through my cheek as a kid though haha. It looks like lips sort of.
Yes, but you may want to get treatments for that. I'm fanatical about my skin, and I had a bad burn last year that I was afraid would scar. I went to a local cosmetic surgery/spa place and they did laser treatments that helped the skin form an entirely new layer that would be free from scar tissue so that the area wouldn't even be slightly discolored.
I had an op last August 23rd on my torn abs that wouldn't heal. The scar has almost faded. I had a scald scar on my right forearm from when I was a child and that has gone totally. Takes time, but any scar will fade.
To put your mind at rest, scars are not a deal breaker for the guy that cares about you. He may have some himself.
In normal light yes but I've got deep and shallow ones and they all show up in bright light or when i get a tan. I draw stares on holiday coz i look like a knots and crosses board when my scars almost glow against tanned skin. Even tbe shallow ones. It looks like your skins been polished a little
Depends on your skin mostly, but yes usually they do. You can use certain oils or gels that help them fade quickly. They work well usually if you get a good quality one. They work better the sooner you use them after the scar forms. You should not use them until the cut has healed and started to scar though.
Most do heal but can leave a trace on the skin for life.
A 35 yr old one is still visible.
A 40 yr old one can still be felt.
I have a few 50 yr old ones which are still visible too, if you know where they are.
Not one of them hurts.
Others disappeared.
Yes if it's not to deep I believe they do. However if u have a scar that bothers u I believe ribbing vitamin e oil helps the fading process
It mainly depends on the direction of the scar and where it is located. The skin heals in certain patterns on different parts of the body.
they fade. but not completely. the deeper the cut the thicker the scar line will be.
I have a few scars, some I have gotten about ten years ago and they are shallow and they are still there.
Almost all scars I have had that weren't deep are gone.
sometimes yes, sometimes no.. there's really no set rule
yeah they fade overtime, i had a deep one as a kid, and it took like 10 years to completely vanish!!!
Even the most minor scars never completely fade away.
Yeah eventually. They fade quite fast but even small ones take many years to disapear completely
no, scare never heal. They become less noticing but they're always here
I didn't see the "not", so I voted B, but as they're not very deep consider that a vote for A.
I wish they all healed
Some people can scar well and some just don't.
physical or internal?
Physical
Oh :(
As long as you properly take care of them properly
