600 calories/day is hard to maintain, whatever it is you eat. Diets are not temporary things done to drop 10-20 pounds, they are lifelong changes in eating habits. Eventually you will get annoyed with your low-calorie diet and then gain back double what you lost. Mainly because starvation diets are counterproductive, they slow down metabolism as a survival reflex. Then when you go back to old eating habits you gain it 2x as fast as before. Probably better off just sticking to 1200-1500 calories a day for life instead of yo-yo'ing it. Simplest way to do that is just avoid sugar and anything with sugar in the first 3 ingredients, including chocolate. Personally I break my own rules on occassion (maybe once every week or 2), but average sugar intake still amounts to less than about 25g a day, even if it is 50-75g from 1 chocolate bar every now and then.

If you take in less calories then it doesn't really matter what it was that you ate. Just make sure you're doing exercise too rather than just eating less
Make sure you're exercising, and if you lift weights enough to build muscle you should eat a sufficient amount of food to fuel muscle building and recovery after a good workout
It's not about what you eat, it's about how many calories you get. You can lose weight by solely eating mcdonalds, you aren't gonna feel good but it's very possible.

if you dont eat the right amount of foods you can end up looking sick, and old. As a matter of fact crash dieting was listed as the number 2 cause of premature aging and lack of exercise was the first. Just our of curiosity how much do you weight? whats your height?
If you burn more calories than you eat then you will lose weight.
Girl you going to lose weight if you don't need around 1000-2000 calories. This could be a start of an eating disorder so you need to cut it. You can EAT healthy and 1000-2000 calories to lose weight too.
