Okay, I'm 18 years old, 164 cm, 55kg and I want to get down to 47kg lean muscle mainly, at a deficit of 600 cals a day (worked it out on calendar cos I'm going on holiday). My BMR is approx 1400 calories. I usually burn 300 calories a day from cardio/strength training, so most days will be eating 1200 calories. On my 1 or 2 rest days, i will be only doing pilates/yoga/abs, and will stick to 900 calories, but a diet full of nutrients,
e.g.
Blueberries, strawberries, pineapple (100)
Yoghurt + cinnamon +10 almonds + square 85% dark chocolate (200)
Lots of assorted vegetables, olive oil (200)
Baked salmon +lemony dressing + black pepper (400)
I was just wondering whether this will have a dramatic effect on metabolism/muscle deterioration.
I practise intermittent fasting where I eat only from 5pm to 8pm daily, and drink lots of green tea and lemon water throughout the day. I've read that muscle loss only begins after 48 hours of fasting, but don't know whether this is the same for females.
Please let me know what you think, I'm not trolling, I sincerely want to lose weight/fat.
