Can teeth be whitened just by brushing them 3x a day?

It depends why they are darker if they are covered in plaque then yes just brushing will make a difference. But most of the time they have stains from things like coffee or smoking and sometimes brushing with the whitening toothpastes will help or even straight baking soda will do the trick but if they are badly stained then that will not be enough. You would need the white strips or other whitening agent. But you need to have the stain removed with a professional cleaning first because the bleaching agent won't go through the stain already on your teeth so you could end up with stripes. Teeth can also just be naturally darker too the color of your teeth comes from the second layer of tooth not your enamel just like some people have darker skin or hair you can have naturally darker teeth. If that is the case only bleaching will work to change the color no amount of brushing with anything will work. I really recommend the bleaching agents with trays like Rembrandt or aquafresh rather then the strips they stay on better.

yes. I brush my teeth 2 to 3 times a day and they are really white. people compliment me on them all the time and think I get them professionally whitened but I dont. just use any whitening toothpaste you can get from the store with a hard bristle brush

I really recommend whitening strips, just make sure you put them on well because otherwise your teeth might be noticeably darker towards the gums.

you need to get toothpaste with plus white or bleaching agent additive...there are also white strips you can do as well

You should try some whitening mouthwash too, I had some listerine type and it worked well but its very foamy
