All though the saying is true that you should eat 2 hours before you exercise, if you aren't going to wake up at 5:30 then you should at least eat a very small snack when you wake up or a little before you exercise. Fruit is an excellent source of energy, especially bananas, but DO NOT eat fruits high in acidity. It is also good to eat a small carb snack 5 min before for instant energy boost. Your body needs nutrients and energy after sleeping for so long, usually your body burns most of the calories you have eaten the day before while you sleep, so when you wake up you need to refuel your body. and if you don't eat, when you exercise you will not perform as well because there is nothing in you. If you don't eat properly before hand, your body will start to take the fat from your internal organs (instead of that midsection). After you've finished your exercise (especially if you've been doing weight lifting), it's important to eat something rich in protein and light in carbs. If you don't, your body will go into a state of hunger, and you'll be even more tempted to inhale the contents of the fridge.. or binge eat the next time a meal comes up. So eat before and after you workout. Hope this helped:)

Never work out right after you eat, always wait at least 2 hours. plus if you work out on an empty stomach you are actually burning the fat and not the calories that you consumed earlier. I work out in the morning on an empty stomach and then replenish my energy with good carbohydrates like oatmeal. One main rule if you do cardio eat good carbs after, if you do weight training eat lean protein after.
What I learned this year in athletics: I'm not sure about breakfast and the in the morning workouts, but say its 5pm and you're going to go work out. Work out first, and THEN eat dinner, even pig out if you'd like. After you've worked out your body uses the fat as energy to replenish your body. Of course don't totally take advantage of this, it's still good to eat healthy.(:
well working out on an empty stomach will burn fat. my advice is eat something like a bannana or a little bit of protine mix, drink some water, work out, then eat a healthy breakfast like oatmeal, a protine shake and cereal, fruit, or something that will start your day right. a good breakfast will kick start your metabolism and make you burn more calories throughout the day. near empty or empty stomach will give you good results though esecially if you want to burn fat.
When you first wake up the very first thing you should do is drink a lot of water. Then work out. After you work out THEN eat. It's best to work out on a near-empty stomach.

They say you are supposed to get up, drink a glass of water, eat, and after two hours workout. But you would either have to workout at 9:30 or wake-up at 5:30 to workout t 7:30. My advice eat afterward. Good Luck!
If you're not very hungry in the morning then wait until after you workout. However when I wake up I'm usually pretty hungry so I eat something light, like a banana or make a quick smoothie, and then wait to have cereal until after I run.
If you workout in the morning you should eat light foods, fruit is good because it starts you metabolism. Then after you workout eat foods with protein and you won't be really hungry.
Work out than eat. But drink a lot before you work out and during it too
its very plain and simple, if it s just cardio then its better to eat after and if its weights then its better to eat before.
You should eat a light breakfast before exercising and drink plenty of water or you might feel faint
Eat when you're hungry.
Before.
