How do I date a fit girl?

All my girlfriends have been very physically fit, and we'd go hiking or jogging in the forest trails as a couple thing. One of my exes worked out at the same gym as I did, so she'd go spinning or bar-core-etics or whatever those womanly group things are called. When she was done, she'd pick me up from the weights room and we'd go eat high-protein meals together. Ah, romance. She completely ruined one session for me. Hers was cancelled, so she spent an hour distracting me from my weightlifting, and whenever I actually picked up weights she'd make moaning sounds at me. Very, very distracting. She'd have great fun lying on top of me while I was doing pushups, though.
Anyway, back to your question, you could always sign up for any group things your gym has. Zumba dancing or yoga or something you can do together. You can whisper little compliments to her while enjoying the view at times, since girls who take pride in their fitness often love to hear that they're doing a good job at it. Also, you look reasonably fit yourself, so you could always volunteer to help her with her programme.
Otherwise, I don't know if fit girls are that much different from others. For some, fitness is a lifestyle, complete with diets and active hobbies, while to others it's going to the gym three times a week and avoiding Burger King the rest of the time. So it depends.
In general the gym is a bad idea because girls who take their fitness seriously (which is no doubt what you are looking for) go to the gym to take care of business, not to socialize. There is NO way you can make a good impression on a girl who takes her gym business seriously if you are trying to approach her there.
Fit girls are the ones who would probably want to do more outdoorsy types of activities, so they probably wouldn't like veging out on the couch much or eating fatty foods. Also, I'm a thin girl and I can say I eat like a fat person and never exercise, the only reason I'm thin is cause I have a good metabolism and probably cause I don't eat meat, but I don't know. So a thin girl might not necessarily be a fitness freak, or overly healthy. I think If you just looked after your body and kept it in shape and ate right most of the time then you'd be fine. If they ask for anything more than that I'd say they're just being picky.
well maybe a sports goods store. is a good place to meet one.
not a gym, cuz lets face it when in beast mode: i got ear buds in, sweating/possibly needing more deodorant, and breathing hard. the last thing i really want is a stranger trying to start a convo.
and they probably have a lot of confidence and self esteem so try to just be confident right back :)

Activities that you enjoy, and places. Such as gyms, bike riding, and other activities. There is bound to be someone around that catches your eye. Though just keep in mind that if your just looking for a fit girl, you'll probably lower your chances of actually finding someone great. Not every fit girl is going to be at a gym.
I love these girls because usually they want attention paid to their bodies, aren't up tight about having their bottoms patted and the like. I'm given to that sort of thing and the gym rat girls tend to accept it more.
trying to be someone you think she wants will backfire eventually. be you. she probably has a lot of energy and enjoys being active but afterward relaxing with a cute guy she likes would be the perfect ending =)
GYM, stores like Dick's or Sports Authority, or at a park jogging or playing with her dog~most likely meaning she is single:)
go to a gym to meet a girl if you wanna meet a fit girl, lol.
id say the gym is one of the hardest places to hit on a girl tho, they are feeling self conscious and sweaty etc, I don't know I guess you just have to go for it regardless
they work hard to look good so high end places come to mind
