Why are you a vegetarian?

Question

so I know there's not only gonna be one answer but my cousin said "Its the way the animals are treated, there's way to much negative energy" now to me this sounds retarded but I'm wondering if other people hold this view.

Before I get the veggie crazies on here yes I eat meat, why? because its normal and I like them. No a human being a vegetarian is not normal it wasn't even healthy until just recently man has come up with different pills and the like which make being a vegetarian OK for you health wise.

another question. Why is Cannibalism severely looked down upon, IM NOT A CANNIBAL, but I'm just wondering because I mean evolutionists who say that were animals at the same time say that eating another animal (human) is WRONG, just wondering

The animals in the factories are treated very very poorly. And it's cruel what they do.

Only two examples-

Cows: They don't produce milk naturally, just like people it only happens when they're pregnant. So they're kept in a constant state of believing their pregnant, which isn't... Well, it isn't normal, among other things. And when they are impregnated one of two things happens. 1) The second the baby is born, if it's a boy, they take it away to raise to fertilize more cows. (This is very unhealthy. Mother cows will return to the spot where they had their calf and look for it for a long time after they've given birth). Or 2) If it's a girl they'll take it away right away and slaughter it for veal. Not to mention the conditions that they are kept in are disgusting.

And example of the bad conditions would be:

Chickens: The standards for chicken coups, as dictated by most all of the major meat companies restricts the amount of square footage allowed per chick, also that coups are not allowed to have windows, or any sunlight shining into them at all. And they're not allowed to leave the area. Every morning the farmers have to go in a clean up the dozens of chickens that have died from the terrible conditions.

See, now when our ancestors hunted and ate meat it was wild meat, meat that lead a good, free life. This meat is processed and mistreated and bread with complete lack of care or respect. They're not fed what will keep them healthy but what will make them taste the best. Cows often aren't allowed to walk around because that will toughen the muscle, so they often don't have the strength to move around that much.

It's stuff like that, that people protest against. I don't believe it's right but that's why I buy from free range meat companies when I eat meat. I was vegetarian for a while but I recently gave it up because there are alternatives. And I was getting really sick of people telling me how stupid I was and how that's not what it was like and how, even if it was, it's okay and... All that.

I don't care if people eat meat but don't try to deny the terrible conditions in which our meat exists (it can't be called a life).

I personally don't care either way. I can see both arguments. But you wanted to know why people rejected eating meat for moral reasons and that's why.

If you eat solely meat, you won't get all the health things you need such as vitamins and minerals. Things that are grown have more variety daily nutrients that you need. I am a vegetarian for health reasons, not for animal rights because I wear leather.

i used to be a vegetarian for many years but its not the most healthy life style and I lost most of my muscle mass so I decided to eat only free range chicken farmed fish I don't really eat read meat I want to postpone colon exams as long as possible

evolutionists obviously believe cannibalism is wrong because its a step back in civility and the evolution process.

And yes, vegetarians that do it for the "morals" of it are stupid. We're designed to eat meat, deal with it.

I eat meat because man has done it since the beginning of time it is natural. The stuff the vegetarians eat as meat substitutes and stuff is a product of man.

I went to a 3rd world country and I couldn't eat any of their traditional foods, but what I could eat were their vegetables. The cow hanging off a hook with blood dripping to the ground in the middle of the market didn't help.

I kinda agree with your cousin... I didn't think about the 'bad energy' thing but I saw the way the animals were treated in a video. It was horrible. One of the examples:The video showed how little chicks were pretty much rolled in some kind of big blender, it was terrifying. I became a vegetarian ever since I saw that video...
