How fast do you need to lose it? You still need to do it safely, you know? First, give up all soda, regular & diet. Drink water, green tea (plain), and in the morning first thing: HOT WATER WITH LEMON AND A PINCH OF CHEYENN PEPPER. Yes, it's good for you. Spa's use it all the time (google it). For breakfast: a non fat yogurt with frest berries. Lunch: fresh salad with non fat dressing and chicken & hard boiled egg (1 egg, 1/2 baked or grilled no skin breast) all the fresh vegies like peppers, carrots, onions, tomatoes, radish, but no potato, etc. no croutons. You could have a cup of green tea or cold. Have an apple for snack in afternoon.
Supper: Either fish, chicken breast, beef (lean) grilled, broiled, or baked: no skin, size of your palm. Use lemon pepper, old bay for seasoning. Have a large portion of vegies steamed with lemon (yum!) or grilled and a fruit salad or lettuce. once a week enjoy sugar free pudding.

Breakfast: smoothie with fruit and protein powder (use water, not milk) and make it big enough to really fill you up
Snack: apple or celery with peanut butter
Lunch: Huge salad with some sort of protein like turkey, tofu, or fish, greens and other veggies like tomato, cucumber, and carrot. Dress with oil, lemon, vinegar, sprinkle flax or seeds on top if you want. Spices and herbs are fine.
Snack: another protein shake
Dinner: a lean protein like fish or chicken, a green vegetable, and a small potato.
Bedtime snack (optional): protein shake or apple with peanut butter
Note: you can substitute low fat dairy for the proteins, but if you take dairy out, you'll lose weight faster.
I don't think diets work, You need to change your eating habits. Salads are good, broiled chicken. Try to avoid fried or greasy stuff & fast food, & do some type of cardio (fast walk, rum, skate, swim, bike) and work up to 40-50 minutes a day. If you loose to much too fast though, it can leave you with a muffin top or tummy layer that's hard to shed
eat lean meats, salads, fish. there's a lot of foods that are healthy and good for losing weight and I don't feel like listing all of them.
also stop drinking soda and coffee if you do drink them. replace with green tea because it's a fat burner. and don't forget to workout too. do aerobic exercises (running, swimming, etc)

You have to eat in every 3 hours to keep your metabolism going.
Dont eat sweets or processed food or heavy drinks
Workout at least 1 hour everyday...

Eat more during the breakfast, and lots of protein.
you're on the first step. congrats. and that is realizing you want change. now, the losing weight goal, it's always better to do something long term and healthy. if you lose too much weight too quick, it's likelier to come back but I mean I would do the basics, eat right, sleep early, work out and remind yourself of your goal but be within reasonable rates and you'll do fine.
Here's the plan. Eat less; work out more. Try to have many small meals rather than few big ones. Make a list of foods that are good for you and try to eat lots of them. Fruits, vegetables, cottage cheese, yogurt, oatmeal, etc.
Eat 5-6 miniature meals a day instead of three regular ones. That will boost your metabolism FAST. Like 100-150 calories a piece. That will also make you less hungry.
You should limit yourself to three meals a day, each of which should consist of a single kernal of stale popcorn and a small sponge full of water. Aslo, try and run 400 to 500 miles a day.
Workout, don't eat lunch or breakfast. just a big dinner. you'll drop pounds like no other

Cabbage or sacred heart diet is amazing you don't feel hungry can lose anything from 10lb a week I use it all time and this time lost 8lbs unto now (only been 5 days)
Do a home fitness workout called Insanity.
What's that?!
It's a fitness workout at home that consists 45 minutes to an hour of straight cardio and strength exercises. You will sweat and hurt! Google it. There is another workout that costs a third of what insanity costs, but I can't remember what it's called, or you can search for it on the internet. It may or may not be there and no I'm not suggesting that you go pirate it because stealing is "wrong."
Also, Evercise TV.com is good too. They have Bootcamp Cardio work outs that will get you sweating
