How do I talk to him?? HELP!

OK, so, I like this guy @ school he's really hott and he plays hockey, I love hockey!

but I'm a really shy person around guys I like, he Doesn't know me we Haven't met yet and we don't have mutual friends I know him through his sister, that isn't very fond of me atm :P

people are saying just go up and talk to him...

he is sorta out of my league

i have glasses and braces and I'm skinny but I'm not ugly...at least I don't think so

please help me I really want to talk to him I just don't know how to go up and start a conversation with him.

do guys think its creepy if a girl walks up to them and says did you watch the hockey game yesterday?

Maybe wear some of his favorite NHL teams' clothes etc. Then ask him about the game. Or just get the guts to go up and ask him about hockey. If he's into the NHL ask him what he thinks about Matt Cook's elbow to head and if it was worth the suspension. If he watches any hockey news or any general news at all (massive headline). By the way, this hit and suspension litterally happened in the past week.
