Why do women's sports not get as much recognition as men's sports?

If you watch ESPN you'll notice pretty much everything is about the NBA finals or the Ohio State QB or something else man related but what about the women's fifa cup? Did anyone know that is about to start?

Why don't people talk about the WNBA as much as the NBA?

Why don't people talk about women's tennis as much as men's tennis?

Why don't people talk about women's hockey as much as men's hockey?

Girls are boring doing sports as they are in society they are all bout drama!drama!drama! while guy sports are fun and exciting to watch because their society usually consists of fun and jokes! Watch them and see the difference for yourself especially in soccer guys have all these fun tricks to show off and watching them play feels as though you are playin with them! while girls.. Just playing intensely-coming frm a sporty girl

Well, to me watching guys us just more exciting. It is not that I'm watching because they are the opposite gender, it is because there is more competion. The guys games are usually faster, more contact ect. It is not the girls fault, men were just built to be stronger generally.

I was a score keeper one year in high school basketball, the guys games were always faster and more exciting.

Depends on the sport really. Tennis, golf, ice skating and olympic athletes are very well coveres. Other ones aren't. Although I think tennis and ice skating is more to do with the short skirt rather than the game itself.

Don't know about other people but I watch a lot of women's sport as well as a lot of men's sports. But I agree, men's sports are focused on more so than women's sports.
