You could scare yourself by looking in the mirror and going., "BOO!". Can you burp? If so, take a deep breath and hold it but try to force a burp (or, the air) out of your stomach as hard as you can for a few seconds. Try drinking water from the other side of the glass. Do pretty much anything to take your concentration off the hiccups ad they SHOULD go away. There's an episode of Columbo where a nurse (Nina Talbot) shows him how to get rid of them by taking 10 sips of water but I forget what else she tells him to do. It was in the episode where Leonard Nimoy played the bad guy, a surgeon.

Squirt some yellow mustard under your tongue and hold it there for as long as you can hold your breath. Ir if you can swish and gargle a shot of vinegar.

It's funny because it seems like everyone has something that works for them that doesn't work for others. Personally for me, 100% of the time my personal cure is a spoonful of sugar. I put it into my mouth, wet it and form it into a clump and swallow. That's it.
Holding my breath or drinking water has never worked. I've heard people say the scaring someone method works but I've never seen that work personally. Just might be one of those things you just have to keep trying different things until you find your cure.
What has always worked for me is to take 10 consecutive swallows of water (or whatever drink you have on hand) without taking any breaths in between. You could also just hold your breath for 10 seconds, but the drink thing has worked like a charm for me every time!

Hell, I wish I knew. I found myself looking up ways to stop them last time I had them and I still had them for a couple of hours. But I did learn that drinking water during them isn't a option for me. Ended up spitting the water right back up before it even got to my stomach. Also I'm pretty sure having a scar in my windpipe didn't help.
From my xp hiccups only happen when im dehydrated, or just had heavy meal and gasping for liquid, so still drinking water quickly solves that, and drinking plenty water saves me from having hiccups for years. I have even forgotten how its like to have hiccups. Thats how rarely it happens to me now.
Most hiccups aren’t an emergency or anything to worry about. However, a prolonged episode can be uncomfortable and disruptive to your daily life. Contact a doctor if you have hiccups that last longer than 2 days. The doctor can determine the severity of your hiccups in relation to your overall health and other conditions. There are numerous options for treating hiccups. Typically, a short-term case of hiccups will take care of itself. However, the discomfort may make waiting out hiccups unbearable if they last longer than a few minutes
One thing you can try, is to put some gauze on your index finger and thumb. This will allow you to pinch your tongue without your tongue slipping out from between your fingers. So, pinch your tongue and gently pull on it. Sometimes this tricks you enough to stop the whole cycle of hiccups.
Things you can do yourself to stop or prevent hiccups
1. breathe into a paper bag (do not put it over your head)
2. pull your knees up to your chest and lean forward.
3. sip ice-cold water.
4. swallow some granulated sugar.
5. bite on a lemon or taste vinegar.
6. hold your breath for a short time.
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/hiccups/I usually call 911 and then hiccup into the phone a couple times and then immediately hang up. When the police and fire department shows up, I get so startled that the hiccups go away and then they have no idea it was me because my hiccups went away. It’s foolproof.
Shape your lips as if you were sucking through a straw , breathe in as much as you can , dont stop till you cannot do it anymore , once you have reached that point, exhale through that same small hole you made with your mouth but when you exhale do it slowly , your diaphragm will raise and then lower slowly , do it till it goes away. Mama was a nurse...
It’s possible you are not drinking enough water so I would start there & give up carbonated drinks for the time being & watch what you are eating.
Are the hiccups here & there or are they nonstop?I always find it helpful to suck on something and swallow.

Like a lollipop.drink lots of waterrr and
as my mommy used to say, put a teaspoonful granulated sugar in your mouth and let it melt slowly dont swallow until its melted and that always used to help.I hope you don't still have them, but holding my breath for 2 or 3 minutes always makes mine go away.
Now I know if you can't hold your breath that long, that won't work for you. While a lot of people hold their breath. I exhale then don't breathe in for 30 seconds. It's really tough to do but it usually works.
Most hiccup cures are about distraction.I count in between my breaths trying to go a longer time in between each breath, well, until I can't hold my breath any longer, sometimes a piece of hard candy will work as well.
Look in the mirror and yell at yourself until you scare them away.
It works👀
Also can you record it and let me see the videoI don't know but maybe Dr Fine and Dr Howard can help
https://www.youtube.com/embed/iO73j-JC7lIa few ways, fingers in ears and drink, drink from the other side of the glass, get someone to frighten you
Drink a full glass of water in one go, while holding your breath, pinch your nose too, and then burp when you've finished, et voilà!
What usually worked for me is i take a deep breath and hold it for as long as you can, then exhale, and keep doing it till they go away. But it should work after the first or second inhale. Good luck with your hipcups.
Relax, take deep breaths. If that doesn't work, my grandmother insisted on a teaspoon of honey, sipped lowly, to stop hiccups.
I mostly just drink a bunch of water and that helps
