No, in reality nobody should be getting the vaccine if they don't want to or isn't proven to be good to them. Pregnant woman and children are very vulnerable. So putting them a vaccine is bad for them. Some woman had to have an abortion after getting the vaccine because of the effects. In my country they are putting many restrictions against people that don't have the vaccine and in our Constitution is ilegal to obligate someone to do something like that. I don't have the vaccine so I can't enter many places. This movement towards the vaccine and COVID is pathetic. We should let our body act alone with the antibodies.
612 Reply- +1 y
Vulnerable and/or older people should definitely get it. But people your age hell no.
- +1 y
Umm haven't you seen many people that are vulnerable that got problems? I already said the abortion. In my school there is a teacher that is vaccinated and since then she can't take the stairs, she needed to get a lot of rest as she couldn't even walk properly without fainting. Also the school made her stay at home for months because being around many people caused her to faint. She couldn't be under stress as she also fainted. I don't believe people should get the vaccine. Just because you are fine after the vaccine doesn't means others are. Have in mind that my teacher is young, she is 30 years old and has never had any problem before that. (I know this information as her son goes to my class)

I bet you think vaccine causes autism don't you

@Pupiiiiii Are you serious?
There are cases of blood clots being caused by AstraZeneca in younger people, so for your age you should be taking Pfizer or Moderna, whichever one is available

Finally, you have reared your ugly conspiracy-believing head, which makes matters that much more straightforward. Although it is quite inexplicable how you conflate science and the idea of some 1984-like global superstate.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't live on this website like you.
- +1 y
"Umm haven't you seen many people that are vulnerable that got problems?". No I haven't. I work in a small corpo employing about 100 people. Every one is vaccinated. No one had any problems after vaccination other than swelling or mild flu symptoms.
But in the first year of pandemics 6 people were hospitalized because of COVID. One of them died. Guy was 32 years old. No long term diseases.
Do the math, check the stats, vaccinate. And stop spreading bullshit about chips in vaccine and 5G you flaterther!

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yI don’t believe under 18’s should be getting the vaccine. It’s their own choice and they should only be able to make that choice once they have left school and are considered adults in the eyes of the law. The amount of schools forcing vaccines on children and under 18’s at the moment is disgusting, and barely even giving the teens and kids a choice.
I am not anti vaxx - I’m fully vaccinated. But I’m also an adult that can make my own decisions. Under 18’s can’t make decisions that they will live with the consequences of for the rest of their lives. Vaccines are already forced onto us from birth by our parents, doctors, etc. We should be able to have a choice as adults as to what is put in our bodies. Under 18’s cannot make an informed decision. I’m not here to argue, because I know there’s people out there who will have a hissy fit over my opinion, but that’s all it is - my opinion.10 Reply

1.2K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Yes. Regardless of the number that have died, many have gotten sick. and even those that did not get sick have passed it on. The vaccine will help fight that. It is stupid to avoid getting them vaccinated.
33 Reply- +1 y
You get the vaccinated to protect yourself not to worry about others. Not to say your shouldn’t be concerned about others but putting in a untested vaccine into extremely low risk children is asinine
- +1 y
But if you are vaccinated the chances of you getting sick and contagious is drastically reduced.
I got fully vaccinated m’kay? But it was a coin toss decision for me. But I am not going to fault a perfectly healthy 19 year old for not wanting to get it and I think it’s flat out child abuse to force this on minors (unless they are obese and/or have preexistíng condition)

622 Reply- +1 y
But you get vaccines to protect yourself. Why should you be worried if other people are not vaccinated when you are vaxxed yourself?
- +1 y
Because vaccines work best if the majority get them. If 1 person in a group of 20 is vaccinated then a virus is going to rapidly spread to likely everyone and cause severe symptoms. But if 19 out of that 20 are vaccinated it's less likely to spread to everyone and if it does an infected person would be passing on a significantly smaller viral load meaning significantly milder symptoms or even asymptomatic.

the number of people that get serious deadly adverse reactions like myocardial inflammation is roughly 1 in 5000. the number of under 18 year olds that have serious issues with covid is probably less than one in a million.

in fact i don't think there are any recorded cases of covid death under 18 that didn't involve people with very severe previous diseases like leukemia and that sort of thing that typically kills people anyway.

Definitely. I think the vaccine and boosters need to be mandatory for everyone, with like a $500 fine per person not vaccinated within a certain reasonable amount of time.
13 Reply- +1 y
And for those who have serious conditions that prevent them from getting vaccinated? They should pay $500 or likely die from the vaccine?
- +1 y
@petitedollbabee About the only thing that would prevent you from being vaccinated would be if you had AIDS or were allergic to all three types of vaccine.
- +1 y
A friend of mine is allergic to all vaccines she’s ever been given. She has been to hospital multiple times as a kid after being forced to get the vaccinations that all of us have had to get as kids.
She was forced to get the first COVID vaccine for her job and she has been in hospital now for 2 weeks since getting it.
Uh yes, why would we not want a layer of protection? This is like saying, "no, my kid doesn't need to get the polio vaccine because they are young and immortal". Know what got rid of all those cases of polio? A vaccine.
52 Reply- +1 y
Because polio kills young people but statistically covid does not. That’s a bullshit comparison and it’s not the first time I’ve heard it.
- +1 y
What do you mean statistically it doesn't? What kind of logic is that? It either does or doesn't. In this case it does. Nearly 800 have died from it under the age of 18 and if you try this nonsense about that being statistically low, you can just not bother typing it. You tell a family who lost a child to it that statistically we shouldn't have done something to protect their child.
Yes everyone should get it. Even if the person itself is not much at risk it helps reduce the spread and unlike covid the risks and long term effects are pretty well known

Or starters, McConnell said 100% of his focus is stopping the Biden agenda, even though Biden's agenda is to stabilize the economy. You know all of this already but it doesn't adhere to your agenda. You're just trolling 😅

Let’s see here what the Biden administration has “done” for the economy:
- Instilled fear in the markets by wigging out about the doom and gloom of every covid variant (there is zero data that omicron is more dangerous)
- pushing absolutely insane vaccine mandates that will cause mass terminations when there is already a huge labor shortage.
- pushing delusional multi trillion dollar “build back better” bills that we don’t need nor have money for. We are already facing insane about debts.
But I know I know. I am the “troll” somehow despite arguing with fact and you throwing out nonsense.

You get vaccinated to protect YOURSELF. Why the hell is everybody so worried about other people being vaccinated. - +1 y
@globetrotter22 you are missing the point about Covid vaccines if you think it’s only about protecting yourself.
The number of hospital admissions dramatically dropped once vaccines were introduced.
A vaccinated persons is far less likely to be admitted to hospital.
This means less stretch on hospitals, more free beds, more chance of people getting other operations.
Mrs Smith down the road can now get her hip replacement and not be in pain, numerous cancer patients can be treated with less risk and less cancelled appointments, surgery etc due to staff shortages from Covid.
There is a reduced risk of infecting your work mates when back at work.
It’s not simply protecting yourself.
Opinion Owner+1 y@globetrotter22 Because it will help reduce the spread. It doesn't matter that they're low risk. They're one of the biggest transmitters. Let's stop teaching children that the only thing that matters in this world is them.
You don't get vaccinated to protect yourself. You get vaccinated to protect others.
